Margaret spent nearly 50 years campaigning and raising funds with other parishioners to rebuild the Catholic Church on the site of the old village hall. The new Church was consecrated by the Archbishop on 1st February, 2020, and that celebration was the last public event she attended before her hospital admission the same day.
